Today, we are singing the praises of the coconut tree.  Levi has been battling a nasty cough, fever, and pink eye.  A couple weeks ago, it was an ear infection.  He hated the antibiotic and refused to take it, so his mother has had to resort to homeopathic means, and thank God she did.  When you've tried the doctor's solutions, and the pharmaceuticals.....with no good results, you are more willing to try the natural route, even though it sounds really crazy by today's modern standards.. Because of the anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties of organic coconut oil, Levi's pink eye has cleared up.  That after Sue tried a couple weeks of prescribed eye drops from the pharmacy.  It would go away and come back, go away and come back.  The beauty of coconut oil is that you can't overdose on it.
